This workshop relies on an action-oriented scenario, with a sequence of authentic tasks of reception, production, interaction, and self-reflection. Participants learn about global peace and partnerships initiatives related to SDGs 16 and 17. The activities are designed to inspire them to take action for the goals.
Elections in Practice
Students create their own political party by drafting a mission statement, assigning internal roles, addressing three social issues, proposing solutions, designing a logo, and preparing a campaign launch. Students will then present their parties to the class and vote (no voting for their own party).
