Dr Agata Buda – is a graduate of classical philology and English philology. She has a PhD degree in British literature. She is a lecturer in the Faculty of Philology and Pedagogy, Kazimierz Pulaski University of Technology and Humanities in Radom, Poland. She teaches History of English literature, Latin language and is a supervisor of BA and MA theses. She is the Head of the Department of Modern Languages as well as the Vice Dean of the Faculty of Philology and Pedagogy. She does research in the field of: reception studies, especially the reception of antiquity in British literature, intertextuality and intermediality in literature, the category of time and space, literary geography and cartography. | |
Iwona Gryz – a doctor of humanities, a lecturer and a teacher trainer in the Faculty of Philology and Pedagogy, Kazimierz Pulaski University of Technology and Humanities Radom, Poland. She teaches Didactics and Methodology of teaching English at all educational levels, as well as practical English grammar. She is an EFL teacher at the high school in Radom and a teacher consultant for foreign languages teachers in Mazovian Self-government Teacher Development Center in Radom. She is an expert of examination and qualification committees for teachers applying for vocational promotion at the Ministry of National Education. The English language examiner after the eighth grade of primary school and the Matura exam (Regional Examination Commission). A mediator of civil and school conflicts (peers, parents, teachers, directors). The author of publications and a monograph devoted to problems of students with special educational needs, especially the developmental dyslexia in English classes. The main research interests include: didactics and methodology of teaching English to students with special educational needs (especially the developmental dyslexia and the unteachables), planning and implementing pedagogical innovations in English classes, introducing digital tools in foreign language teaching and professional development of foreign language teachers. | |
